International Cafe @ World Gakuensai 2011
A small cafe that will be run by all the different countries during the school festival itself. Drop by for a lunch or a snack, converse with the waiters and waitresses, and just in general kick back and relax with your friends. This year, we're proud to present
five unique menus that allow our customers to have a taste of a wide array of international dishes!
Menu
All Menu sets cost $5. This comes with a choice of drink: iced lemon tea or coke. Please note that all customers have to order a menu set in order to enter the cafe.
Customers can choose from one of five special international food sets! (Please note that food presentation on that day might differ and vary
slightly. Just slightly.)
Asian Set
Fried rice with assorted dimsum, served with kimchi.
Axis Powers Set
Omelette-Pasta with bolognese sauce, topped with sausages and served with apple-rabbits.
Bad Friend Trio Set
Potato salad and vegetable quiche, served with a generous helping of cherry tomatoes.
US+UK Set
Hot dog in bun with generous topping of condiments, chips, and ... scones, topped with strawberry jam and cream with a sprinkle of chocolate rice.
(P.S.: The hero would like to warn all courageous adventurers about the authenticity of these scones.)
... who? Set
A generous pile of pancakes, served with authentic maple syrup.
Chekkies
An exclusive bonus for all customers of the cafe, a chekkie is a polaroid photo of a convenient size for slotting into wallets, or just a unique souvenir for your visit!
A chekkie can be requested of
any cosplay crew member (even if they aren't in the cafe during your time slot), and hand-decorated by them too!
Chekkies cost an extra $3 each.
Time Slots
The cafe will be run in 1-hour-time-slots, each with a rotating shift of countries. Please make sure that you are around at the start of the time slot, as we can only allow each customer a maximum of 1 hour in the cafe.
A) 11:00~12:00
B) 12:00~13:00
C) 13:00~14:00
D) 14:00~15:00
E) 15:00~16:00
Please also note that in the situation where you are not seated 30 minutes into your booked time slot, we will give up the slot to any willing person at the event at that time. In such a case, you can ask for a refund after the event by sending us an email with the name you registered with and we will get back to you ASAP.
Bookings
This year, we will not be taking on-the-spot orders for our cafe. To ensure that all the countries have sufficient time to prepare the dishes and ensure that your meal is fresh and exactly as you want it, we will
only be accepting pre-orders. Thank you for your kind understanding!
Bookings will close on 7th of October.
How to Book

worldhetaliaday.sgp@gmail.com. We will reply to you once we have processed your request with a confirmation on your booking and details on payment. All payments will be done by bank transfer, but if you have any difficulties paying by this method, please leave us a note in your email too.

Number of people: Group bookings for up to four people per table can be made. Please note that if you are booking for less than four people, you might be seated with strangers on the same table. BUT THERE ARE NO STRANGERS AMONGST FELLOW HETALIA FANS, Y/Y?
